About the press
Pip Pocket Press is where I make small zines about things I want to learn more about. Each one is a chance to dig into a subject, its history, its ideas and its odd corners, and fold what I find into something that fits in a pocket. I like to surprise people with them and plant a little curiosity.
I'm also exploring linocut. It's quick enough to turn an idea into a print the same day, and once a block is carved I can print it again and again. I love the focus it takes, the thrill of carving (mistakes and all), and the big reveal when the block is finally inked.
A pip is a tiny seed. These are tiny books. Plant them in a friend's pocket.
